00 Let’s not chase the wrong robe. And there are times God will allow your robe to be taken. There are times God allows you to experience the unpleasant . Why? If you want to receive the right robe, you must let go of the wrong robe . Why must character be formed? If character is not formed, your character will abort God’s plan in your life. Those who understand, say amen. Open with me to the book of Genesis chapter 37. I will begin from verse 9 and verse 10. Friends, I talked a lot earlier, so I didn't have time to rest my voice.
46 But earlier in the green room, we talked a lot about how I believe every believer is called by God to make an impact. So, I pray that you who are in BWC, in Bright Warriors Community, truly prepare yourselves because what makes a believer a disciple of Christ isn't just being in this building, but how you manage your life. Friends, you must know that the Kingdom of God is a management system. Okay. So, I want to debunk some myths. Yes, there are some myths that must be eradicated from the house of God. The first myth: I pray so that I can be blessed. Nobody, friends, just wants to be blessed. Who wants to be blessed, raise your hands. If you want to be blessed, work.
32 Okay. There is no praying just to be blessed. You do not chase God just to be blessed. Because you are already blessed, that is why you can know God. Because you are already blessed. Now, I always teach that every believer must know that your life while on earth is not just an opportunity, but life is a trust. So, God never plays random games with any of you. There is a specific destiny. For each of your lives, there is a specific call. There is a specific assignment. And every believer has been given by God spiritual deposits that enable you to succeed in managing. And today I want to speak to you friends, I
17 believe this is the time to become a leader. Don't let yourself die with your dreams. Don't let yourself die with God's dreams never fulfilled in your life. But it requires partnership. A partnership, a working together with God so that God's plans for your life are truly fulfilled perfectly. Amen. Let’s look at Genesis 37 verse 9. You and I must look at one figure named Joseph. This person is a leader. You don't need to start with everything. You can, you can. God never looks for great people, but what God looks for
02 are healthy people. People who are healthy in spirit, healthy in soul, healthy in body. Because those who are not sick are not necessarily healthy. God never looks for great people. What He looks for are healthy people. And a healthy person is someone who can manage their own body. A healthy person is someone who can manage their own spirit. A healthy person is someone who can manage their own soul. And a person of impact is a healthy person. You will see that when Joseph first began his story, he had potential. But God never
49 works with potential. God works with the proven. He always works through evidence. Why is there a principle of truth that says be faithful with little things? Then you will be trusted with greater things. Because greater things cannot come if there are no little things. Thus, God does not work using potential. What God always asks for is evidence. And you can provide evidence through the small things in which you and I are faithful. That is why love is not just a concept. Love is evidence. For God so loved the world. He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever
35 believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. Joseph was born carrying potential. You must realize that Joseph was a dreamer. So Joseph held an inheritance. None of Joseph’s other brothers had dreams except Joseph . You can have parents who have wealth. You can come to a church that has a deep spiritual heritage. You and I can have things that are actually strengths . But without God training and making us into healthy Christians. We can die with wealth, we can die with health, we can die with potential without it ever
21 becoming anything. And I want you to see that when Joseph first dreamed, he didn't know how to interpret dreams. No one is great right away. You gotta grow . That is why I always say, character is formed, gifts are sharpened. Character and gifts must go hand in hand. In the prime service later, I will talk about authority and power. An impactful Christian is a Christian who knows how to manage both. Managing power, managing authority. But now we want to talk first about being a dreamer. Being a leader. The Bible says , "Then Joseph dreamed another dream
08 and told it to his brothers." This is mistake number one. My question is, why was Joseph eventually cast away? Why was Joseph almost killed? Why was Joseph almost sold to Egypt? Because he told his dream. My question is, if Joseph had never told his dream, would the dream still have been fulfilled or not? It would have. So, why was Joseph almost killed? Because of his own mistake. Why was Joseph hated by his brothers? Because of his own mistake. If your character and mine are not formed and we do not become healthy spiritual human beings, then often because we are becoming more like the world and not more like God, our likeness to the world sabotages our destiny. Are you catching this? Joseph
02 told his brothers, "I have dreamed another dream, and behold, the sun, the moon, and the eleven stars bowed down to me." The next verse, the Bible says, "When he told it to his father and to his brothers, his father rebuked him." So, who interpreted Joseph's dream? His brothers? His father. The story of Joseph begins with a Joseph who dreamed but didn't know how to interpret the dream. Who interpreted the dream? Joseph. And Jacob said, "What is this dream? Shall I and your mother and your eleven brothers bow down to the ground
48 before you?" But the 11th verse is key. His brothers were jealous of him, but his father kept the matter in his heart . My question is, his father rebuked Joseph, but why was the dream kept in his heart? Because Jacob was a dreamer. Jacob realized that Joseph's dream came from God. If a believer does not want to be discipled, you can receive a dream from God. You can receive a prophecy from God. You can receive an anointing from God. But character and a life that is never discipled will always lose momentum and eventually you could die without seeing God's promise
34 fulfilled. Now, if you want to see what kind of person Joseph was, please go back to the second verse for me. Look here, today I want to give you guys the 4Ks. Say 4K with me. The 4K that changes you from a dreamer into a leader. Because God never looks for people who are rushed or forced. So if you want to be used by God, don't just come to BWC. Make sure you are building your life. And you cannot build your life only by praying. Because spiritual revival is not just prayer. Want to know the hallmark of spiritual revival? Your community must change. Society changes, culture changes, it transforms
21 ; that is spiritual revival. The church is good at bringing people into church, but those who shape the media, entertainment, business, and government are not God's children. That is why we always lose the competition. We win souls, but the world disciples the souls. That's why if you guys realize the Great Commission is not just about winning souls. Part of the Great Commission is discipling, making, and teaching. And you must understand the part of the people being discipled. Your room is in order, your career is in order, it's the age to get married. What are you waiting for to get married
08 ? Whereas in the church, people are afraid to marry. People don't want to get married. Meanwhile, people who are antichrist and hate God very much have four children. True. It's logical. We are already losing in terms of population. Why? Because we have become lazy Christians. As long as I get what I want, I'll go to heaven. That is not the kingdom of God. I always say if Jesus 'goal was just to take us to heaven. Why when Jesus ascended to heaven were the disciples not taken with him? They were left behind. And He said, "It is better for me to go so that you may receive the Father's
53 promise." Because our privilege is not just to admire the person of Jesus. Our privilege is to be transformed to be like Jesus. So, your goal isn't just to enter heaven. Your goal is to reign with Him who owns heaven. Entering heaven doesn't necessarily mean you reign. But if you reign, you are certainly in heaven, you see. Whether you're in Sabang, Merauke, Sumatra, or Sulawesi, you're in Indonesia. But being in Bali doesn't mean you can enter the presidential palace. Only those who know the president can enter the palace. Your destiny isn't just entering a country called heaven. Your destiny is to sit on a throne. Together with Jesus forever and ever. Those who understand, say amen. That is why only
40 the bright can reign. Not every Christian is bright. That is why when we receive Jesus, we are born again. If you are newly born, you're a baby; babies don't get married. Spiritual maturity positions you to receive not just grace, but also rewards. Salvation is not a reward. Salvation is grace. But don't just stop at the door. Just entering the door is the beginning of grace. The fullness of grace is receiving the rewards available to you. Rewards are not fair. God's justice is different from our justice. Who said God loves everyone exactly the same?
31 God has favorites. Of the 12 disciples, three were very close to Him. He wanted to raise someone from the dead; others couldn't come in. Only those three were allowed inside. He was to be transfigured; the others couldn't come up. Only three were allowed up. What is that? Favoritism. Because our God is not a communist. Our God is not a socialist. Where everything is equal. No, you have the privilege. Each of you has access to be close to God, but your hunger determines your closeness. You choose. Coming to this place doesn't make you God's favorite. Serving,
16 preaching, that doesn't make you God's favorite. How do you cultivate your life? How do you live your life? Now, if you look at the character of Joseph, the young Joseph, descendant of Jacob, only 17, used to shepherding with his brothers, the sons of Bilhah and Zilpah , his father's wives. And Joseph brought his father bad reports about them. What about you? You can be favored. People can like you because you are noisy, but they can also like you because you have substance. People can like you because you like to gossip . Or people can like you because you
04 like to help others. Which one do you choose? Isn't it stressful working with people who are always negative? God cannot use annoying people. Often, the annoying parts of our lives will be ground down by God until they fade away at home. That's why you're in church. This is a training center. I really like your name, Bright Warrior. Because this is a training center. You won't be at BWC forever. If you are here forever , it's abnormal. There is no 50-
54 year-old who can't do anything and still lives with their parents. Abnormal. You are here as sons and daughters being prepared. But there is something from Joseph. Are you ready for K? Number one. If you want to be leaders, not just any leader, you and I must have what is called character. The next verse says Joseph liked to tattle; a little bit he tattled, a little bit he tattled. He would always tattle to his father about his brothers because he was favored. His brothers could not possibly be thrown away by their father . The Bible says Israel loved Joseph more than all his other sons. Because
42 Joseph was the son born in his old age, and he had a robe of many colors made for him. Often you and I are so accustomed to what we think is a blessing. Listen, if Joseph always wore the robe of many colors from his father , he could not have worn the robe that came from Pharaoh. Don't let us chase after the wrong robe. And there are times God will allow your robe to be taken away. There are times God allows you to experience things that are unpleasant. Why? If you want to receive the right robe, then you must let go of the wrong robe. Why must character be formed? If character is not formed, then your character will abort God's
28 plan in your life. Those who understand , say amen. Say it together with me, character. Every young person who wants to grow up, your character must be formed. How do you relate to people? How do you treat other people? What comes out of your mouth? What do you speak? Now jump to verse 19. Because remember, what the devil targets is your destiny. But character is the tool . Character is like a vessel that ensures your destiny will be right on target according to God's plan. If we say these are his brothers who really
15 hated Joseph. Because Joseph always spoke poorly. Joseph always spoke inappropriately. Joseph showed off and made people annoyed. So they said to one another, "Look, here comes that dreamer." Verse 20. Ah, let's say, "Now let's kill him. We will throw him into one of the pits. Then we will say, a wild beast has devoured him." And we shall see later what becomes of his dreams. If you and I do not want our character to be formed, then what is at risk is God's dream for your life and mine. Those who understand, say amen. So if your character is being formed, don't run away. If your character is being formed, don't flee. Don't leave
01 BVC just because you are not comfortable here or because you fought with someone. Leave BWC because you are blessed. Leave BWC because you are sent . Leave BWC because you have a beautiful story with this community. As long as you are still placed by God here, allow God to process your character. Often we think that a certain time is the worst time for us. There are times when we feel we don't want to go anywhere. That is when God will shake your nest and you will be released to leave your comfort zone. Because if the first thing God will form from a dreamer to become a leader is character. The second thing, say it with me, performance. Say performance.
47 Everyone who wants to be a leader must have performance. And when will performance be formed by God? When you and I are in a place that is not comfortable. If Joseph were a homebody, if Joseph were a daddy's boy, he could never be a prime minister. There are times God will force you out of your comfort zone, not to kill you. But when you and I are forced out of our comfort zone—the moment Joseph entered Potiphar's house, the moment Joseph entered prison—all of Joseph's administrative skills and talents came out. The best that is within you will come out, not in a comfortable place. In an uncomfortable place, that is where the oil will come out of your
32 life; there will be no olive oil if the olive is not pressed until it is crushed. Why is it important for each of us to leave our comfort zone? Because that is where what God is looking for is performance. Now try to open Matthew 25 for me. I will start from verse 14. I want you to see something, that God never gives each person the exact same thing. Once again , because the system of justice in heaven is different from our justice system. Yes. Parents always want to give equally to two or three siblings; they give them the same amount. Justice doesn't work like that. Why do parents
18 often give children 1, 2, and 3 the same pencil case, just in different colors? The reason is only one: so they don't fight. To keep children from fighting, it doesn't make them good stewards. That's right. That's why the moment the child grows up, feeling they don't have what others have, they feel they lack something. Just imagine if children, even siblings, were given things differently according to their ability, according to their capacity, then the child would be taught to be faithful and grateful for what they have. Because small or large does not determine value. Value is seen by whether you can manage what God has given you. For the kingdom of heaven is
09 like a man who is going on a journey. Now, this is prophetically speaking about our generation. He hasn't returned, not because of traffic on the road from heaven to earth. Have you ever prayed and asked, "Why hasn't the Lord Jesus returned yet?" Why hasn't He returned? He can't return. Preparing a house. Heaven has been under preparation for 2,000 years and it's still not finished, right? And the longer He doesn't come, there will be new generations. People keep multiplying, it never ends. Generations keep coming, generation after generation. Why hasn't Jesus returned? I asked, "Why have You not returned yet
56 ?" He replied, "Because the bride is not yet ready." What He is looking for is one who is equal to Him. And in the midst of a world that is growing more corrupt, He will find a church that is becoming more brilliant and radiant. A church that is not killed by pressure, but in the midst of difficult times, this generation's church, you, who want to partner with heaven, will become the best church of God that the world has ever witnessed. You will be the best generation that manifests the fullness of Christ before Christ comes back to pick up His church for the second time. The kingdom of heaven is like a man going on a journey, who called his servants and entrusted them with what, brothers and sisters? Entrusted them
41 with what, brothers and sisters? The treasure of your life. Treasure is not an accident. I was an accidental child. My father was drunk and slept with my mother. My mother got pregnant. But after I knew Jesus, I knew I was not an accident. I was created in the image and likeness of God. And today, I want every one of you to understand that as long as you live, you are God's treasure entrusted on earth. And He will come back to settle accounts. Are you ready to settle accounts with God? You can't win. The verse says next that to one He gave five, to one He gave two
29 , to one He gave one. Each according to their ability. So, there are times you aren't given what you want. It’s not because God is mean. We aren't given what we want because we aren't capable. So, if you want to be given more, what must be expanded? Your capacity and ability. That is why blessings often don't come in the form of money. Blessings often come in the form of responsibility. It is our part to expand our capacity. If you want to be given more, ensure you are capable. Because if you are capable , you will surely be given more. Those who understand, say amen. And everything that God has entrusted into your hands today, God knows you are
15 capable. There is no reason for people not to give their best. Giving our best doesn't necessarily make us the best. But even if we aren't the best, we can still give our best. Those who believe, say amen. Each was given according to their ability. The next verse says the five talents were special. Why? If I want to give an analogy in today's language, the one with five talents is like a CEO. They don't need to be told to move. The problem is, not everyone is like Mr. Nadim. His name is hot right now, isn't it? Because not everyone can build a company like Gojek . This five-talent person is a pioneer
01 without instructions, given no cues, immediately the servant who received the five talents went out. He traded with them and made a profit. The next verse says the two-talent servant was not a CEO. The two-talent one had to follow an example. He did the same. So, there are people who aren't pioneers; they look first, "Oh, like that." Oh, so that's how it is. People shouldn't be envious when learning; instead, learn to equip yourself. Even if others are better, you can learn from them, but you must remain faithful with what you have. This isn't a CEO, you can't
52 just hit the gas immediately. You have to look at the model and the example first. But he also gained two talents. Look at verse 18. People with no performance, those who like to complain , those with low self-esteem, feeling they have nothing, their parents are poor, weren't taught, or are nobody. In the end, you and I become like the servant with one talent. Doesn't digging a hole take energy? If you and I are not grateful for what God has given and you curse your own life, we will often do the wrong things in the wrong place, at the wrong time, with the wrong people. Those who understand,
42 say amen. Look at the next verse. So when the master returned, he settled accounts. That's why the most ridiculous thing is a person in Jesus still wanting to commit suicide. In God , there is no such option. You must have performance. As a young person, give your best. God looks for creative young people. God looks for impactful young people. Maybe others are better than you. That's no problem. God never asks for what you don't have. He always asks for what is already in your hands. That’s why don't just follow everyone to school. Why do you want to go to
29 school? Because everyone else is going. If I don't go, I'll be weird. If that's your mentality, you'd better not go to school. Learn to be grateful for what God has given you. Give your best. You can work, do business, support others, or have creative ideas. Work. God's anointing enables the ordinary to become extraordinary. And when the Master returned, the next verse says, the servant with five talents immediately came and told his master what he had done. Look at the next verse. This is the reward. Here's the next one. 21. What God values is not your capacity, but your faithfulness.
14 Say it together, faithfulness. Because He said, "Well done, good and faithful servant, because you have been faithful in a few things, I will make you ruler over many things." It often comes with an expansion of capacity. And the blessing is not just entering a place. The Master said, "Enter into the joy of your Lord," what is God's blessing? Whatever makes God happy, you will participate in it. Not just heaven. Those who understand, say amen. Try skipping two verses for me, to 23. The servant with two talents came and he made a profit and told his master, "I have done what You gave me." Then his master said to him, "Well done, you good and faithful servant." Exactly the
00 same. It is not his capacity that is being evaluated. What is being evaluated is his faithfulness. Because you have been faithful in handling a small matter. I will put you in charge of a much greater responsibility. Come and share in your Master's happiness. The next verse, look at the person who has no performance. People who don't perform have many excuses. Even God is blamed. People who don't perform always feel like you are being treated unfairly by God. If today someone still comes here thinking God is mean. Repent today. Because God is never mean. Even
46 if you only have one, and others have five, God's favor is not based on what is in your hands. God's favor is because you are God's child. But people who don't perform are complainers, jealous, annoyed, and hateful. Next. People who don't perform always have their lives led by fear. Afraid of not being able to, afraid of failure, afraid of being hated, afraid of being mocked. People shackled by fear are not fearing God, because you love yourself too much. Life has risks. What did he
33 say? I was afraid. Because I was afraid , I hid. And God is looking for people who do not hide. God is looking for people who want to be proven. Say it with me, "proven." Because God does not want to work with potential, brothers and sisters. He wants to work with faithfulness. Those who understand, say amen. You and I must have what Joseph had. What did Joseph have? Performance. Say it with me, "performance." Therefore, today, make sure you manage well what is already in your hands. Those who agree, say amen. Number three , credibility. Do you know where Joseph's credibility was tested? In Potiphar's house. One day, Potiphar's
20 wife wanted to sleep with Joseph. Look at Joseph's answer. Everything in this house is under my authority, except for you. Take note of this quickly. What is credibility? One, do not touch what belongs to your God. Do not touch God's glory. I will give you a few examples. Do not touch God's right to take vengeance. Number two, people with credibility do not touch fellow servants in your Master's house. People who have credibility are people of integrity. I want to ask you today, are you a person of integrity? Are you a
06 person of integrity with your own body? Are you a person of integrity with the trust of your parents? Are you a person of integrity with the trust God has placed in your life? Because those who go from being dreamers to leaders are those who can be trusted. What God is looking for is not perfect people because there are no perfect people. What God is looking for is a person willing to be perfected to be just like Jesus, the only perfect One. Those who understand, say amen, Brothers and Sisters. Say it together with me, credibility. Credibility comes with a high price. In Potiphar's house, Joseph's credibility was sought by God. Where was Joseph's credibility tested? In prison. While in prison, Joseph no
55 longer asked when he could get out. When he met the cupbearer and the baker , he still said, "If you get out of this prison, remember me." But eventually, God made the cupbearer forget about Joseph. When Joseph no longer cared about when he would get out, whether he would be free, that is when freedom would come. Your credibility and mine will be tested by God when you and I want to remain faithful until God ordains otherwise. Those who understand, say amen. What God is looking for is credibility. And lastly, number four, for someone to go
40 from a dreamer to a leader, you must be deeply rooted in what is called love. Please open for me Genesis chapter 45 verse 5. Without love, it’s a total zero. That’s why if we can't forgive our parents, can't forgive our friends, can't forgive our pastors, listen, Brothers and Sisters. You forgiving doesn't mean you have to be with that person all the time. Because a forgiving person is not a fool. Forgiving is not like this, "I forgive you, okay.""But don't do it again." Ha. A person who forgives doesn't demand that others repent first. Because repentance doesn't happen because you are forgiven by people. Repentance happens when you are forgiven by God.
28 So, forgiving people aren't like this. "I forgive you, Dad, but if you do me wrong one more time," that is not forgiving. That is called someone who is forgiving. You forgive someone, that person hurts you again repeatedly. If you truly forgive, you are set free. Because forgiveness doesn't set the other person free. Forgiveness sets yourself free. Those who understand, say amen. If a person doesn't live in love, you cannot be brought by God to be a leader. That is why in the service today I preached that being disappointed is certain. But to stay disappointed is a choice. If you don't want to be disappointed, you're dead. As long as you live, you will be disappointed. But choosing to stay disappointed is in the hands of each of
15 you and me. Why is love important? Look at Joseph. Joseph became prime minister . He saved a nation from famine. But Joseph's greatest destiny. Remember what his dream was? His dream was the sun, moon, and the 11 stars. Who were they? His own family. Even though Joseph was a blessing to millions of people, the high calling of Joseph was to be a blessing to his family who wanted to kill him. Often what God views as the greatest is not the great things you do, but often what God views as the greatest is what is most difficult for us to do. Where did I say Joseph was a successful person? From a dreamer. He became a leader. In verse five, he dared to speak to those who wanted to kill him. He dared to speak
02 to those who slandered him. He dared to speak to those who betrayed him. But now, do not be distressed. Do not regret that you sold me here. For it was to preserve life that God sent me ahead of you. If you want to be a leader, and not just a dreamer, allow yourself to love Jesus. Because we were first loved by Jesus. When our lives are full of love, whatever your hands touch will be made fruitful by God. Those who understand, say amen, brothers and sisters. Say it together with me. First, character. Say performance, say credibility. Fourth,
47 say love together. If you have these four things, I pray that God will use your life as a mighty vessel of the Lord. Because in the midst of difficult times through God's church, God reveals Himself as the answer for this world. Amen. Brothers and sisters, I give you the last two verses. Genesis 40 verse 8 . Brothers and sisters, I said earlier that when Joseph first had a dream, he didn't know how to interpret it. But every time Joseph allowed his life to be led by God from one phase to the next, you will see Joseph's gift becoming sharper. First, he received a dream, he couldn't interpret it, he didn't have the gift. But in Genesis 40
33 , when he was in prison, he could say this to the cupbearer and the baker. They replied, "We have had a dream, but there is no one to interpret it." Then Joseph said to them, "Do not interpretations belong to God? Please tell me your dreams." Now, in prison, Joseph learned how to interpret dreams. Every time you and I allow God to make us more and more like Christ, and allow God to shape our lives, then God's gift in your life will always be sharpened by Him. The very last verse, Genesis 41 verse 16. The moment Joseph entered Pharaoh's palace, Joseph didn't just interpret dreams, but an ordinary
20 Jewish boy became a blessing and even gave advice to a nation's leader. What did Joseph say? Then Joseph answered Pharaoh, "It is not in me; God will give Pharaoh a favorable answer." From a person who couldn't interpret dreams. In prison, he interpreted dreams, but by the time he reached Pharaoh's palace , he gave advice to the most powerful man of that era. If God wants to take someone from one level of glory to the next, then you must be willing to be shaped by God. Your character is being
09 formed, your performance proven, your credibility built, and love becomes increasingly real in your life. Today I do not know where you are. Perhaps you are facing family members who hate you. Perhaps you are dealing with people who slander you. Perhaps you feel as though you have been sold out. Perhaps you feel that you are not supported. Perhaps you feel that you are not upheld. But the Lord's message comes today to the BWS in this place. If you want to be like Joseph in the midst of an increasingly dark world, God will prepare you to be the answer for your generation. Those who want to say amen, brethren, let us all stand in the presence of God. Today I want you to close your eyes and reflect carefully.
56 Where are you currently located? Do not give up on your life. Because the word of God clearly states that God works in all things for the good. Those who believe, say amen, brethren. Those who believe, say amen, brethren. Bow your heads.
