00 If you're anything like me, even though Siri has been on your iPhone for years, you don't actually use it that much. Maybe you ask it to set a timer or check the weather, but anything more complicated and it's usually easier to do it yourself. And that has been one of Siri's biggest problems. We've had this voice assistant for years, but it's never really felt like the intelligent personal assistant we were promised. Well, with the new Siri AI, Apple is trying to change that. And there's some genuinely useful things you can do that go beyond setting alarms and asking random questions. So today, I'm going to show you 10 ways Siri AI can actually make your life easier. [music] From finding information buried on your iPhone to writing emails and having genuinely informative conversations. One

47 of the most frustrating things about using your iPhone is trying to find information you know you've got somewhere. It could be an address that someone sent you a few weeks ago or a booking confirmation buried in your emails. >> [music] >> Instead of scrolling through conversations and trying different search terms, you can ask Siri to find what you're looking for. For example, you can say something like, "Hey Siri, find that link that Samad sent me to a new Chinese EV." >> Samad sent you a link to a review of the 2026 Zeekr 9X on CarExpert. >> Siri can search personal information across supported apps including messages, mail, and photos to help find relevant information. The benefit is that you don't need to remember exact details. You can just describe what you're trying to find, which could save you a surprising amount of time. Next is

34 on-screen awareness, where Siri can actually understand what you're looking at and use that context to help you. This is particularly useful when you're shopping online, for example, and want to compare products without having to switch between apps and manually look up specifications. For example, let's say I'm interested in buying a new pair of headphones. I can ask Siri, "Hey Siri, compare these headphones to the Apple AirPods Max. Which one would you recommend for traveling? >> [music] >> For travel, the Bose QuietComfort Headphones Second Gen are often preferred due to their lightweight, foldable design, and longer battery life. >> Siri can use the context of what I'm looking at to help with the comparison, and I can follow up with questions. Tell me which one has better noise

19 cancellation. >> Both headphones offer exceptional active noise cancellation, but the Apple AirPods Max generally have a slight edge, [music] particularly in blocking out low-frequency drones, like airplane engines. >> Notice how I didn't have to say Bose headphones. Siri was able to understand what I was talking about based on the product page I had open, and it's these little things that are starting to make a personal assistant feel more aware. And unlike the old Siri, the answers are actually good. One of the biggest frustrations with the old Siri was that anything beyond a basic question could be hit or miss. The new Siri AI is designed to handle broader questions and more natural follow-up conversations.

05 [music] Let's say I want to learn about how the new Tesla Roadster is able to fly. Hey Siri, how do the thrusters on the new flying Tesla Roadster work? >> The Tesla Roadster's thrusters work by releasing ultra-pressurized ambient air from a storage tank to generate thrust for extreme acceleration, braking, and cornering. >> Interesting. What fuel does it use? >> The thrusters do not use traditional fuel. They run entirely on ultra-pressurized ambient air. >> You could use the same approach to research a new laptop, to compare products, or learn about something else that you're interested in. Rather than starting a new search every time you have another question, you can refine the answer through conversation. Just remember to double-check important details because AI can still make mistakes, but it is useful as a starting

52 point when you're exploring an idea. Now, one thing we've all gotten used to using AI for is to write better emails. Sometimes the hardest part of writing an email isn't knowing what you want to say. It's figuring out how to say it without sounding either too blunt or too formal. Siri AI can help you draft a text, then improve the wording and proofread what you've written. Not just for emails, but for messages, too. Siri, write a polite text message asking my colleague Mike for an update on our delayed project. Keep it friendly, professional, and concise. You can then ask it to make the text more casual or shorten it or make the request more direct. Can you make it a bit more direct? Now, I wouldn't recommend sending

39 AI-generated messages without first reading them, which is why it prompts you. But, if you regularly write emails or important texts [music] and struggle to get started, having an assistant that can help you turn a rough idea into a polished message is genuinely useful. Now, think about how many small tasks involve switching between apps. You might read a message, then open notes to write something down, and then switch to calendar to check your schedule. Siri AI is designed to the perform more actions across supported apps, helping you get things done without navigating everything manually. Let's try an example. Hey Siri, find that link that I sent to Samad a few days ago about a Honda. I found the link to the Honda Prologue that you sent to Samad on October 11th. [music] Can you create a new note for me with

25 the top specs for that car? I've created a new note with the top specifications for the 2026 [music] Honda Prologue. Depending on the supported apps and actions available, Siri can help you work through the request and organize the information. You can also experiment with tasks involving email, messages, and other compatible apps. Not every request will work perfectly, and some actions may require confirmation, but the idea is to focus on what you want to accomplish rather than thinking about every individual step. That's what I want from a personal assistant. Less time navigating my phone and more time getting things done. Next is a visual intelligence feature that I was quite excited about. Your iPhone's camera can do more than just take photos and videos. It can actually help you understand things you're looking at in

12 the real world. For example, if you come across an unfamiliar object, you can point your camera at it and Siri will figure out exactly what it is for you. You could also use visual intelligence to get information from something like an event flyer. Depending on the features available, you might be able to identify the event details and use them to create a calendar invite. This is particularly useful because it helps you use what your iPhone's camera can see to then take actions with that information. Now, on the topic of photos and videos, finding a particular image in a photo library filled with thousands of pictures can take longer than it should. Siri AI can help you search your personal photo library using descriptions of what you're looking for. Hey Siri, can you open up that photo of

57 my dog that I took last year in a red sweater? >> I found a few photos and videos of your dog in a red sweater from June 2025. >> You can also try describing a particular event or something you remember seeing in a photo. The goal is to search using natural language instead of scrolling through thousands of pictures. Once you found what you want, supported actions can help you edit or share your photos. If you take a lot of pictures but rarely organize them into albums, this could make finding old memories much easier. Just check the results, especially when you have a lot of photos that are similar. Now, Siri AI can be useful when you have a rough idea but aren't quite sure how to organize it. Whether that's a business idea that you want to create a plan around or you just need a simple packing list for a vacation. Let's say

44 you're going away for 3 days and you want to pack light. You could ask Siri to create a minimal packing checklist based on the length of your trip and the activities that you have planned. Hey Siri, I'm traveling to Sydney for four nights. Can you create a list of items I need to pack? >> I've created a new Sydney packing list for your four-night trip with a few essentials to keep it light. >> From there, you can refine the list by asking it to remove unnecessary items or focus on things you absolutely need. The same idea works for planning meals, organizing a project, or breaking a large task into smaller steps. Instead of trying to figure everything out at once, you can start with a rough idea and use AI to help structure it into something more manageable. Now, you may have noticed that Siri responds quite

30 well to follow-up questions, but you can take this one step further and have a full conversation with it. This is something that I've been doing in my car just to learn a few more things while on the way to work. Hey Siri, help me understand if buying an EV is actually more cost-effective. >> While I'm not a financial advisor, whether buying an electric vehicle is more cost-effective depends on your specific driving habits, charging access, and the vehicle segment you choose. >> I have solar panels and a battery at home. Does that help? >> Yes, having a home solar and battery system significantly increases the cost-effectiveness of an EV by allowing you to charge your vehicle with self-generated, stored energy rather than relying on the grid. >> What about the depreciation cost of an

17 EV versus a petrol car? >> Electric vehicles generally depreciate faster [music] than petrol cars. >> You'll notice that Siri was able to continue the conversation very well and answer my questions quite directly. And finally, another time-saving hack is to use Siri AI to help you get through long pieces of text without having to read every single word or straight away. Imagine you've got a long set of meeting notes and you need to work out what exactly matters. [music] You could use supported AI writing tools to summarize the content into five key points and a list of action items. That gives you a quicker way to understand the main ideas and identify what needs to happen. The same approach can be useful for lengthy notes, for documents [music] and other

02 text-heavy information. Of course, a summary won't always capture every important detail, so it's worth checking the original whenever accuracy actually matters. But for getting a quick overview of a large amount of information, it can be a real time-saver. So, those are 10 ways Siri AI can make your life easier. I think it's significantly better than the old Siri and it is still in beta, so I'll be interested to see how it performs once it's fully released. Let me know in the comments below which of these features you'd actually use and if you enjoyed this video, be sure to give it a like and subscribe for more videos like this one. Thanks for watching. I'll see you in the next video.
