Yeah. >> So the first part dictates the second part. >> Yeah. So in fact many people who come to church and say oh what did God say to you today I didn't hear him it's because you came late for present if you had come earlier you would have ministered to him >> and in in so doing >> yes God would speak to you cuz now your spirit would be open but if your spirit is not open even if he's speaking >> yeah you can't hear because you came

The first session is praise and worship. >> Yes. >> Praise and worship is a time for you to give to God praise. >> We praise him for drawing us to him. >> Correct? If you missed that session, you have missed a major session of drawing God to you. >> Yeah. >> Amazing. >> And then Zephania 3:17, >> "The Lord your God in your midst, the mighty one will save. He will rejoice over you with gladness. He will quiet

He's rejoicing over you singing. Yeah. When we singing. Yeah. When you're dancing. By the way, we don't dance to make ourselves happy. >> Wow. >> We dance as a way because that's a way of praising him. Remember >> the daughter uh the the the child? No. The girl who danced >> uh until Herod said. >> Yeah. Because Yeah. She was praising Herod. That's true. >> With a dance until Herod said, >> that's true. What can I do for her? I'll give her up to the half of my kingdom if she asks. >> That is how God rejoices over you.

This is the last >> like the lowest level you'll ever be. >> Wow. >> That day I was dancing and I was not thinking about anybody. I was just dancing. I was dancing and my mind and my heart was I'm dancing for the Lord. Not I'm dancing to my to make my you see

In fact you a human being is in three is a spirit >> a soul >> and a body. >> Now the spirit gives glory to God. >> M >> the soul is where now you are being renewed to become like God. >> The body is the last dimension of man. >> Yeah. So when music is playing when the body begins to move like shake dance >> that's the last dimension of man towards worship >> that is why when music comes all of a sudden your body wants to move >> cuz your body is wired to worship >> yes >> so it will either worship >> a demonic >> spirit >> or it will worship God >> that's deep that's deep >> I think I think

When the praises go up, his glory comes down. >> When the praises go up, >> his presence comes down. >> Wow. >> You know, >> yes. >> And that is what people don't understand. So, a lot of people come to church late. Yes. >> They are not only killing the church, but they also killing their lives. >> That's true. >> You are killing your fellowship with God. >> Yes. And and the thing is a lot of people are are they born again Christians but with carnal minds. >> Yeah. So to them praise and worship. >> Yeah. Because they have not been >> renewed in their minds. No,

So even when you are dancing there, you're not dancing as a spiritual thing. The >> it's like >> you're actually not aware >> of what you're doing >> of what you're doing. You don't you're not aware this is worship. >> And that is why when I see some even some of the young guys when you see them dancing you can tell >> this is not of God. It's not a a godly dance. >> They're not dancing >> under the influence of the Holy Spirit. They are dancing under the flesh. Their flesh their flesh is excited. That's true >> because of the beat. They're not even listening to the song. >> They don't know. >> They don't even know the lyrics. True.
8:28 >> They don't even know what the words are saying because sometimes the words are so powerful. And when you listen to those words, you meditate. Even a lot of even grown-ups, even people in the church, they don't mind the lyrics. >> Yes. Yeah. >> And the power is in the words. The words I speak to you, their spirit and their life. >> They're alive. Like when you sing a song like and say >> that song, you should think about those words. >> Yes. What are you saying? >> Yeah. What am I saying? >> And who are you saying it to? >> Yeah. Who are you saying it to? >> Wow. And there are many many Christians who actually don't know worship and praise songs. >> Wow. And they are not even looking
9:13 forward to know them. >> Yes. It's not in their priority. >> Yeah. So they are not only killing the church, they are also killing themselves. And that is why you and I need revival. >> That's true. We need revival >> because our spirit man must be revived to desire >> revival. the things of the spirit >> and to be aware because revival I think is also being aware >> Yes. >> of God. >> Yes. Consciousness. >> Consciousness of God. >> God >> and his spirit and his power. >> That's true. >> So a lot of guys are here they they don't even care about worship songs. When they hear a song that they don't know they shut >> instead of saying hey I would like to know that song. What does that song say? >> You know >> what are those words? >> And the songs that they love are songs that encourage them. Yes.

Like when I say I see you in the future and you look much better, that's not a praise and worship. That is an encouraging song. I'm encouraging myself and I'm encouraging my brother. Yeah. Yeah. >> Or when you say >> that's not worship. That is uh what is that? That is you encouraging yourself and lamenting >> and lamenting >> to be forgotten. >> Yeah. I think maybe you're praying actually. Yeah. You're you're lamenting. You have been forgotten. >> That's true. >> You need help. >> That's true. >> Yeah. >> You know, uh and all that, but but there are songs that are specifically addressed to Christ. >> Yes.

Those songs there are songs that are actually a lot of even our churches here. We are people don't even think about what they are saying. What are you saying? >> What are you even saying? You know, and we are not criticizing the soul. We are
11:30 just saying that >> as a spiritual man, you should be aware, be conscious of the Holy Spirit, >> of his power, of the presence of Jesus, of the presence of God. That's true. And the time to do that is coming early. >> Yes. >> And being part of >> the praise and worship. Don't come to church late. You are killing your church. >> Present worship is not a segment to buy time. >> It's not a bear. That's powerful. Yeah. >> No, it's not a time. >> It is a a time where we minister to the Lord. >> Yeah. >> I I just remembered when I was talking about the three dimensions of man. The spirit, the soul, and the body. >> Yeah. >> When the when when the when the holy when the Holy Spirit takes control of the spirit, the Bible says he becomes a new man. >> Yeah.
12:15 >> For behold, if any man in Christ is a new creation, the old is gone. Yeah. >> When the Holy Spirit takes control of the soul, the soul is renewed. >> When the Holy Spirit takes control of the flesh, the flesh is killed. >> So the flesh being killed, it is at that time that now the Holy Spirit takes control of your flesh and your flesh begins to dance >> for the Lord. >> For the Lord. >> That's why remember when David was dancing and the wife was not happy. >> Yeah. >> David spoke and said, "If you think this is undignified, you will not give birth >> to to the time you die." And it happened exactly as that because at that time his whole body had been taken control of by the Holy Spirit. Yeah. >> So it's a very important >> it's a very and you see at that point because of God is pleased your words are

I remember many years ago >> in our church when we would do praise and worship you'd come in between the the sessions >> when prison worship is going on and you'd say now it is time for you to start declaring what you want of the Lord remember and then you lead us into a few >> we should go back we are going we need revival >> we need revival >> we should go back we are going to go back >> coming we this um now we we are we feel like God and when we start even talking about these things >> it is God starring us our hearts stirring our hearts up >> back to himself. >> Yes. >> Yeah. Because
13:47 >> uh when you start talking about church, the things of God, >> the Holy Spirit is stirring us up. >> Wow. >> Back to himself. >> Wow. >> And I feel that all these conversations we are having are going to lead us to a place of revival. >> Wow. >> Where we are going to be awakened. >> Wow. >> And we are going to be aware. >> Wow. >> And we are going to be conscious. >> Wow. of the power, the presence >> of the Holy Spirit. You see, when when when you are awakened, the fear of God is also awakened. >> That's true. >> Yeah, >> that's true. >> Because right now, people do whatever they want even for you to speak against the church or to speak against a man of God >> or to speak anyhow about God. It means you have lost the fear of God. >> Like you are not you are not feeling

There's a new bill they were passing something to do with procurement and he was told to pray >> and the prayer he prayed there was was scary. He was saying Lord just like you anas died because of taking from from you what belongs to you. Lord we are asking that anyone who will take of this country the resources of this country may they receive the same punishment that ouras received and then he mentioned several people who actually that was the judgment of God and the politicians were just there so I was asking myself are they listening to this prayer >> because if they

It was it was during >> it was England. John Nox. >> John Nox and this other lady Miriam would eat her. >> Yes. >> When the revival hit there the crime rate in the country went down went down. They closed prisons and there were no judges. I mean nothing. >> Yes. Police had no work. >> Had no work. That's what happened. In fact, the queen at that time said that the only thing he fears in Europe are the prayers of John Nox. >> Yeah. >> That's how powerful. >> Yeah. >> Revival is. >> And I'm telling you, if we go back to our because how do you how do you awaken

You know, and because a man of God and a man of prayer has prayed that if you have taken >> anything from the public, may you fall down and die.

Your fear of God has gone down. Your your consciousness of God has disappeared. Your convictions and your conscience has been seared. That is why you you no longer uh uh feel the need. You who used to wake up and run to church. >> Yeah.

You didn't have a car. >> You didn't have a car. Now you have a car. You didn't have a husband, now you have a husband. Or you didn't have a wife, now you have a wife. You didn't have children. All these were as a result >> of God blessing you and giving these things to you. >> Oh Lord, we need revival. >> We need revival. And we have become so laxidexical >> in doing the things of God. So who trivial we have trivialized >> the things of God completely >> and taken them lightly. >> Yeah. >> I am telling you coming to church late

Number three. >> How do you kill your church? >> You are a killer of the church. If you're always finding fault with anything and anyone >> professional fault finder, >> professional fault finder. >> Yeah. Like a calling. >> Yes. >> You are the you have a calling of finding fault. >> Yeah. And I've written in the book that the church is a conglomeration of wounded, damaged and sick people. >> Oh, that's powerful. >> So if you are always finding fault with anything, >> uh then when a singing star is singing, you find fault with a song. When
19:12 somebody's shouting amen, you're looking at them, always finding fault. When your pastor picks an offering, you find fault. You are killing the church with your attitude. That's a bad attitude. Just because you know my sin and I seem different from you doesn't make you different or mightier than me. >> Ephesians 4:31. >> Wow. Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, cla and evil speaking be put away from you with all malice. So you should hate gossipers and gossiping because in church people are wounded. And then every time you discuss a wounded person, you are taking a knife and going where the wound is and drilling it,

I believe that as the word is being preached, God is washing and and um the the wound and dressing it. >> God is washing the wound and >> dressing it, you know. And we have some scriptures there that we have picked that are powerful. So people who are always finding fault, how come you always why don't you ever look at yourself? Are you perfect yourself? >> No. >> You know, no. And that is why Paul said that they I think he was writing a letter to someone and he said that this person is not ashamed of my chains. >> Yes. >> Filimon. >> Filimon. And I and we have a lot of church people who are afraid of the

You are you are ashamed of the chains of not just of your pastor or of your fellow brothers and sisters but even of your church. >> Yes. Because every church has chain >> has its own chains. Yeah. And there there are rumors there are things that are said >> like the church of a young where has a lot of young people. >> One of the chains will be fornication. >> Yeah. Oh >> people will always fall. >> Oh unless you are pastoring inanimate beings. >> Yes. >> Inanimate beings. >> Yes. As long as there you have younger people even older people nowadays I mean it doesn't matter people have become because when you are not revived the

Yes. >> Yeah. To move and to help those people. Amen. >> Lately, yeah. >> I've been having you you you've been teaching us a while back. You taught us on the independent spirit and the critical spirit. So lately, they have been coming to my mind and it's like I've been forming a conviction more and more on why those two spirits are one of the most dangerous spirits in church.

So the fact that you have become number one you've become independent you've become independent of the church you become independent of your pastor you become independent of the ministry you become independent of many things and I'm saying that because at a point I saw myself in that I saw myself I was always every every anything I see I'm finding fault as to you remember you even telling me a while back >> why why are you always finding fault in all these things >> so it is now that he realized at that point the reason I was finding so much fault in what is not good is because

Yeah. >> Even in marriage. >> Yeah. Amazing. >> People who are married they start finding fault of each other when they start becoming independent of each other. >> That's true. >> Before then they were mesmerized by each other. >> Wow. But then now when they become independent >> every move your spouse makes >> you find a mistake issue >> because you become independent of the person. So you become >> critical. >> So you kill your church when you begin to find fault in everything you see. Everything. >> That's true. >> That you you never used to.

So everything we do when we stay a bit longer, you you say why are we staying longer? Because whereas other spirit your flesh is alive. Your flesh doesn't like and enjoy being in the church. >> It enjoys being outside the church >> where it is the flesh is being >> where the flesh is being you know uh uh encouraged and >> charged. Yeah. >> Yeah. Because in the church is a lot of spiritual things. >> Your flesh is dying. >> Your flesh is dying and and it's boring because your flesh and you if you don't want your church to be boring

No. Because some people would think at you know me I'm I'm melanchonic so I spot what is >> challenges many >> agreed that's given >> but at a point it crosses from the personality to a spiritual thing >> it becomes now a spirit is involved and it's a demonic spirit >> and we cast it out now in Jesus name >> that is always pointing out >> problems >> problems problems you have a problem with your praise and worship you have a problem with Everything

You have a problem with everything. How money is being asked. >> Yeah. >> Like it's time to give. Why they are always telling us it's time to give. I mean, you have a problem with everything.
